The unrecognized consequences of mold toxicity can create hormonal imbalances, brain disrepair, chronic gastrointestinal issues and multiple autoimmune conditions. And concern for susceptibility to acute respiratory infections remains at an all time high.

Our health experts and air quality / remediation specialists will help you identify exposure, set a course for treatment (for consumers and practitioners) and deliver the latest knowledge, tools and techniques for dealing with toxic mold, supporting the immune system and improving the air quality directly affecting your lungs.

It could be mold toxicity if you are:

  • Suffering from sinus infections, lung problems and/or migraines
  • Weakened by gut issues, brain fog, fatigue and neurologic symptoms
  • Constantly challenged with sleep issues
  • Enduring terrible mood swings, anxiety and/or depression
  • Reacting to chemicals, smells, foods and medications

Almost 20 years ago, your host, Dr. Margaret Christensen, was a successful OB-Gyn with a booming practice. She began having debilitating fatigue, was unable to think straight and her body hurt all over — so much she closed her practice. Her family also showed symptoms: learning difficulties, insomnia, severe mood swings, migraines, ADD, asthma and bronchitis, tremors, sinusitis. After eight years of sickness, they finally found toxic mold in their water-damaged house. Join us at this special summit replay to learn from her wisdom and find key strategies for fighting the effects of toxic mold!

Margaret Christensen

Margaret Christensen, MD, FACOG, IFMCP, ABOIM, CFMHC

Dr. Margaret Christensen is an international educator and clinician with over three decades of experience—first as a board-certified OB‑GYN and later as a specialist in environmental and functional medicine. She co-founded Carpathia Collaborative, a leading multidisciplinary functional medicine clinic based in Dallas, focused on complex chronic diseases. She also holds certifications as a Functional Medicine Health Coach and as a practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Dr. Christensen’s journey into functional medicine began when she set out to unravel her own family’s complex health issues, later traced back to severe toxic mold exposure. This personal experience gave her firsthand insight into the roots of chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmunity and biotoxin illness.

Over time, her boutique OB‑GYN practice evolved into Carpathia Collaborative, which now offers comprehensive, root-cause-focused care in functional, lifestyle and nutritional medicine. The clinic also includes certified health coaching, an on-site teaching kitchen, a yoga studio and a community education library.
